Banana Breakfast Cookies Healthy Recipes for Kids

I think every parent is always searching for healthy breakfast ideas for kids and today I'm sharing a super easy breakfast cookies recipe that the whole family will devour!

¼ cup coconut sugar
2 and a half cups of old fashioned oats
¾ cup flour of your choice
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1 teaspoon baking powder
⅛ teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 egg
1 ripe banana
½ cup + 1 tablespoon milk
¼ cup maple syrup
2-3 bags of the Crispy Green of your choice (our kids prefer apple and banana)

- Step one: Preheat your oven to 350 degrees and line your baking sheet with parchment paper. If you don't have any handy, you can give it a good spray with cooking spray.

- Step two: To make this breakfast cookie recipe you will first need to mix all of the dry ingredients into a large mixing bowl. This is a great step to get the kids involved!

- Step three: Then you want to add all of your wet ingredients one by one, mixing until everything is combined.

- Step four: scoop your dough onto your cooking sheet into 12 equal breakfast cookies!

- Step five: Pat them down a tiny bit so they aren't in a ball shape and bake for 15-17 minutes depending on your oven until golden brown.

- Step six: Remove your breakfast cookies from the oven and carefully place your favorite Crispy Green on top. Let them cool completely before eating.
