Sausage Pinwheels - Super Easy Breakfast Recipe

2 tubes of crescent rolls
1 16 oz. package of original pork sausage
Shredded Cheese

How To Make:
1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

2. Roll out the crescent roll doughs on a clean surface or cutting board. (I usually keep the 2 tubes separate). Squish the pieces together so that there are no seams and it creates one surface.

3. Add 1/2 package sausage per crescent roll tube and spread it out along the dough.

4. Once the dough is covered in the sausage, add shredded cheese to taste. I prefer a Mexican blend.

5. Beginning at one end, roll the dough (like a scroll).

6. Cut roll into slices. If dough becomes too difficult to cut, put it in the fridge to cool and harden for a little bit.

7. Place slices on a greased cookie tray.

8. Cook for approximately 10 min (oven times may vary).

For a slightly hotter version of Sausage Pinwheels, you can also do a mixture of half original sausage and half hot sausage. Just mix ½ of each together and spread evenly on the dough.
